Recognizing that health and safety are each individuals responsibility, we are committed to providing our employees with the tools and resources they need to achieve safety excellence. The development of our Health, Safety, and Environmental Plan helps support our efforts to ensure that ZERO HARM is brought to any of our team members. We demonstrate our commitment to safety by creating leadership that is visible, involved, and accessible to the employees and by setting positive examples. WPI acknowledges and accepts responsibility for providing a safe working environment in which employees are expected to take responsibility for performing their work in accordance with our established safe standards and work practices. - Provide the resources necessary to effectively assess, audit, monitor and continually improve our health and safety management system and confirm our workers have the tools, equipment, and training necessary to do their job safely.
- Protect and strive for improvement of the health, safety, and security of our employees.
- Set quality and HSE performance objectives; measure results; and continually improve processes, services, and product quality using an effective management system.
- Plan for, respond to, and recover from an emergency, crisis, and business disruption.
- Minimize our impact on the environment through pollution prevention, reduction of natural resource consumption and emissions, and the reduction and recycling of waste.
- Communicate openly and ensure an understanding of our HSE policies, standards, programs, and performance; reward outstanding HSE performance.
- Improve our performance on issues relevant to our clients and on which we can have an impact and share with them our knowledge of successful HSE programs and initiatives.
